Fasten your seatbelt and take flight over the world-famous Nazca Lines! Over 2,000 years old, they are a total mystery and have blown away historians and archaeologists for hundreds of years, even today there is no consensus as to how or why they were created. Spread over almost 80km of desert – a flight over the Nazca Lines is the only way to do justice to these incredible landmarks. Plus, you’ll get a peek of the astounding Cantalloc Aqueducts!

The lines can only be fully seen and appreciated from the air and this flight will take you over the high plateau of the desert where the figures were designed. The lines date back to between 500 BC and 500 AD with figures such as spiders, monkeys, fish, and hummingbirds scratched on the arid surface of the desert.

Our fully certified aircrafts (Cessna 207A 6/8 seaters) are specifically designed for this type of flight. All of them have a two-way intercom for communication between the pilots and passengers, this way our experienced guides/pilots can give important information during the flight ensuring the passengers are both comfortable and informed while taking time to appreciate the stunning panoramic windows.

Yes, they’re safe! Flights are only authorized to leave during appropriate weather conditions and all the flight companies must adhere to strict safety guidelines. If the weather conditions change then no flight company is allowed to depart from the airport.

The flight is not recommended for those susceptible to flight sickness. The 8/10 seat passenger planes are small, and although the flight duration is around 30 minutes, it allows passengers on both sides of the plane to see all the Lines. Consequently, the plane must encircle each line first from one side and then from the other.

Make sure to have your original passport with you for the flight. Also, don’t forget your phone and/or camera are a must to capture pictures of the lines! Other than that, nothing really.

The duration of the flight over the Nazca Lines is roughly 30 minutes.

We recommend eating something simple and light.

The airport tax is a tax that all passengers (residents of Peru and tourists) have to pay in order to use the airport.
